Jayanna
Certified Veterinary Technician
I have lived in Florida my whole life (a local to Riverview). I went to Hillsborough Community College and graduated with my Associates degree in Veterinary Science in 2021. I became a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) that same year. I have been working in the veterinary field since 2020 after working in the trade field since I was 17 years old. I currently have a 12-year-old Blue Nose Pitbull named Braylee and a 4-year-old Shih Tzu named Louie. Growing up I’ve always had cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, fish, etc., which lead me to believe that my passion was to work in the veterinary industry. In my spare time I like to try new restaurants and breweries, travel, go to Busch Gardens, and be outdoors at the beach, boating or horseback riding. I am proud to be an advocate for animals by providing excellent care, compassion, education, and services to pets and their owners.
Ashley
Certified Veterinary Technician, BAS
I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. I graduated from Saint Petersburg College- School of Veterinary Technology with my Associates in Applied Science of Veterinary Technology in 2008 and passed the VTNE and State Exam to become a Certified Veterinary Technician shortly after. I then went on to continue my education at SPC and graduated in 2010 with my Bachelors in Applied Science of Veterinary Technology and Practice Management to become a Certified Veterinary Technologist.
I have worked in the veterinary field for 19 years and have worked at Fox and Friends Animal Hospital for 13 years. My passion for animals has been passed on to my young son and radiates through my household and through my work. We have a plethora of furry and scaly companions in our home including a pit bull (Snickers), two chihuahua mixes (Zero & Olive), three cats (Annabelle, Chucky, and Clarice), two rabbits (Blueberry Waffles and Strawberry Shortcake), two very loved ball pythons (Pumpkin and Morticia), and several aquariums.
I love to frequent amusement and water parks and am a Halloween and Horror enthusiast. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my son, Isaac, our pets, and my close family and friends.
