We’re here to help.
Wellness is our priority.
Your dogs, cats, and other pets will receive optimal care from Dr. Fox and the care team. We cover all the necessary services to keep your pet healthy and happy for years to come. Your pet’s care will be supported by our clinical, diagnostic, and surgical services.
Parasites and the diseases they carry can all be prevented with proper medication and maintenance. Fleas and ticks are not only a source of irritation to your pet, but they can also harbor disease and adversely affect your pet’s health. Heartworm is a dangerous parasite that lives in the heart of dogs and cats, damages the heart muscle, and can be fatal.
Ridding a pet and home from fleas can cost hundreds to thousands of dollars and can be nearly impossible to get rid of as flea eggs can survive for a very long time. We will work with you to set up the best flea and tick preventive plan for your pets.
Our hospital has a fully stocked, in-house pharmacy to make getting your pet’s medication as easy as possible. Additionally, we have an online pharmacy that allows you to shop online for your pet’s medication, supplies, and food to be delivered right to your door. Click here to shop now.
Just as it’s important for you to see a dentist regularly, it’s important for dogs and cats as well. Your pet’s oral health is directly connected to their overall health. Signs of dental disease include bad breath; loose, broken, or missing teeth; yellow or brown teeth; red, inflamed, or bleeding gums; difficulty or pain when chewing; pawing at the mouth; and excessive drooling. If you notice any of these symptoms, please contact our team, and we’ll be happy to help.
Before & After Dental Cleaning
At Fox & Friends Animal Hospital, we believe that when it comes to caring for your cherished companion, you should have as many choices as possible. We’re pleased to offer laser therapy as part of our comprehensive suite of services. The laser uses painless waves of light to treat areas of the body that are experiencing pain or have suffered trauma. This triggers a natural response without the need for medication or other invasive measures. As a result, your loved one can enjoy decreased pain, enhanced mobility, and shorter recovery periods.
What is veterinary laser therapy?
Laser therapy is a painless, non-invasive form of treatment that stimulates the body’s natural healing and pain control response. It can be used as a stand-alone therapy or as a complement to other treatment methods. Using a small, handheld device, the doctor applies a low-level laser to the area in question, stimulating normal cellular function. This results in faster wound healing and enhanced pain relief. Best of all, because laser therapy requires no medication or surgery, there are no harmful side effects.
What are the benefits of laser therapy?
- Anti-inflammation – Decreases swelling from bruising/inflammation
- Anti-pain – Blocks pain by decreasing nerve sensitivity
- Accelerates tissue repair, cell growth, and nerve function
- Improves circulation
- Accelerates healing and reduces scarring
What can laser therapy treat?
Laser therapy can be used to address a broad spectrum of conditions, including:
- Disc disease
- Hip dysplasia
- Degenerative joint disease
- Sprains and strains
- Cranial cruciate ligament
- Dental problems
- Chronic pain and inflammation
- Dermatological conditions
- Lick granulomas
A microchip is a tiny device which contains unique identifying information about a pet. It is approximately the size of a grain of rice and contains a code that corresponds to the contact information of the pet owner. This allows missing cats and dogs to be returned to their rightful home as quickly as possible.
It is difficult to see your pet in pain or suffering and not know what’s wrong. Our team provides state-of-the-art in house diagnostics to help us learn what’s wrong and provide an accurate diagnosis. A quicker diagnosis leads to quicker treatment! We do diagnostic testing both in-house and with an outside lab so we can provide results quickly and accurately.
Our in-house laboratory allows us to quickly and accurately diagnose any issues with your pet. We also utilize diagnostic imaging like X-rays. A radiograph (X-ray) is a type of photograph that looks inside the body and reveals information that may not be discernible from the outside. Radiography can be used to evaluate your pet’s internal organs like the heart, lungs, and abdominal organs, as well as bones. When it comes to accurately diagnose your pet, radiology can be an extremely valuable tool in our diagnostic arsenal.
We understand that your pet is a family member and that separation from him or her may be stressful. Be assured that the entire Fox and Friends team involved with your companion’s medical treatment is committed to sensitive, compassionate care of your pet throughout their stay with us.
